Practical Information for Occupants and Guests at Villa Delle More

 Welcome to our home on Castel Santa Maria, and We certainly hope you enjoy your stay at Casa Delle More.

 

 

Keys

• We have a key lockbox at our home and will send you instructions for retrieving the key.

• Depending on your arrival time, Daniele, who speaks English and German, will come to welcome you and show you around. He knows the area and will be able to give you some tips on what to see and do in the region. You will also be able to call him should you need anything while you here.

Check-in/Check-out

• Check-in is after 3 pm and checks out is by 11 am. If you have other

• arrival/departure requirements, let us know, and we’ll see if we can work with you.

• When checking out, please turn off all electrical appliances (including the AC) and lock up the house. Leave the key in the key lockbox.

• Please ensure you take all rubbish with you (see note re rubbish).

Laundry

1. We have a washing machine in the house which you are welcome to use. Instructions are next to the washing machine. There is a washing line to the side of the washing machine.  Please be careful not to overload the washing machine.

2. There is also a launderette in Castelreimondo and Matelica. For an exact address and details contact Daniele.

 

Cleaning

• The house was cleaned before you arrived. If you wish to have a cleaner booked during your stay, you can arrange it with Daniela (at an additional cost).

 

Electricity

The electric power in the house is quite low compared to what we are used to at home in cities, and we often find that it goes off if we have too many appliances on at once, especially in our case that the house is equipped with many power appliances.

 

We have increased the power supply, but in case it does go off while you are here, it is quite straightforward, you need to go to the main electricity switch which is located on the surrounding wall around the house not far from the pool -  and pick up the switch.

 

Please note that if there is a power off, an emergency lamp will be lit in the kitchen and an emergency flashlight will turn on (placed near the main exit door in the living room). Take the emergency flashlight with you when the power goes off at night (do not forget to plug the emergency light into the electricity once the power return).

 

Water Heating

The water heating works on gas so at any time and any weather you will have hot water for shower.

 

Rubbish

1. In the area of the house, there is a strict recycling of waste. Therefore, as far as possible we ask you to separate the garbage and throw it into the appropriate bin. You can find cans of all kinds at the entrance to Castel Santa Maria.
